Red Rage drops 5-1 game to Pittsford-Bowen despite efforts of MacFarlane

Will MacFarlane went 0-0, but Red Rage still fell to Pittsford-Bowen 5-1 in six innings on Saturday at Lyndon Road.

MacFarlane reached base two times in the game for Red Rage.

The game’s last lead went to Pittsford-Bowen thanks to a second inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on an RBI single by Charlie Bennett and a wild pitch.

Red Rage’s lone run of the ballgame came in the fourth inning on an RBI single by Ryan Gaudioso.

After a quick strike from Red Rage, Pittsford-Bowen responded with two runs in the fourth. Pittsford-Bowen scored on a two-run double by Tyler DePaolis.

Red Rage take out Webster-Linder with help from Miller, 10-5

Red Rage beat Webster-Linder 10-5 in six innings on Friday at Lyndon two behind Mason Miller, who went 2-2.
He singled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Red Rage never trailed after scoring three runs in the second on a passed ball and a two-run single by Tyler McMillan.

One run in the top of the fourth helped Webster-Linder close its deficit to 4-1. An RBI single by Caden set off a Webster-Linder rally. Finally, Jason DeLorenzo got Harry to strike out to end the threat.

Red Rage added four more runs in the bottom of the fifth. McMillan doubled, scoring DeLorenzo to start the inning.

After pushing across four runs in the top of the sixth, Webster-Linder faced just a 10-5 deficit. A walk by Brandon, a two-run double by Caden, and an RBI single by Harry gave Webster-Linder life. Michael Pellittiere got the last out, as Webster-Linder’s Saul grounded out.

Red Rage take out Pittsford-Hennessey with help from Pellittiere, 7-4

Michael Pellittiere went 2-2, helping Red Rage to a 7-4 victory over Pittsford-Hennessey on Monday at Jefferson Road School.
He singled in the third and fourth innings.

Red Rage closer Tyler McMillan put away the final three outs to record the save.

Despite hit advantage, Red Rage drops 10-6 game to Pittsford-Hennessey

Red Rage lost 10-6 in five innings at Jefferson Road School on Monday, despite outhitting Pittsford-Hennessey 11 to four.

Red Rage was led by a flawless day at the dish by Michael Pellittiere, who went 3-3 against Pittsford-Hennessey’s pitching. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

The top of the first saw Red Rage take an early lead, 2-0. Red Rage got a spark in the form of a Will MacFarlane single, before before Pellittiere tripled, plating MacFarlane. Red Rage added more runs when Pellittiere scored on a passed ball.

Pittsford-Hennessey quickly matched Red Rage’s strong inning with a two-run inning of its own in the first. Pittsford-Hennessey scored on a passed ball and a walk by Kyle.

Pittsford-Hennessey didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring seven runs in the second inning when it scored on an error, a fielder’s choice, a passed ball, an RBI single by Andrew, a two-run triple by Rob, and a walk by Jimmy.

After pushing across two runs in the top of the third, Red Rage faced just a 9-4 deficit. A wild pitch and an RBI single by Pellittiere fueled Red Rage’s comeback. Ryan Gaudioso grounded out to end the Red Rage threat.

Two runs in the top of the fifth helped Red Rage close its deficit to 10-6. An RBI single by Jack Lindstrom and an RBI single by MacFarlane gave Red Rage life. But, Sean got Ryan Lucey to ground out to end the game.

Red Rage outmuscled by Fairport-Treviso, 9-2

Red Rage racked up four hits, but it wasn’t enough, as Red Rage were 9-2 losers on Sunday at the hands of Fairport-Treviso at Lyndon Road.

Kenny Burzynski had a hot bat for Red Rage. Burzynski went 1-2 and scored one run. He tripled in the fifth inning.

The top of the second saw Red Rage take an early lead, 1-0. Red Rage’s threat began with a single by Mason Miller. A passed ball then moved Miller from second to third.

Fairport-Treviso went up for good in the second, scoring three runs on an error, a fielder’s choice, and a passed ball.

One run in the top of the fifth helped Red Rage close its deficit to 6-2. A wild pitch fueled Red Rage’s comeback. Fairport-Treviso stopped the rally after Drew Treviso got Will MacFarlane to fly out.
